«Universalna» has implemented the system for paying the claims within 5 days
2009-04-06OJSC Insurance Company «Universalna» has implemented the procedure for quick claim payments by the MOD contracts.
Under this procedure the claims are carried out on the basis of initial certificate from the traffic police (there is no need in detailed certificate) in the following cases:
— The absence of other persons-participants of the insured accident;
— If there are other persons-participants of the traffic accident and the Insurer has provided the detailed information about these participants and their vehicle (to invite the probable person responsible for the accident to survey the damages of the insured vehicle).
Quick payments are to be carried out within 5 days from the date of receiving the last needed document to provide the insurance compensation.
According to Oleksandr Kvyatkivskiy, the Director of Claims settlement department of IC «Universalna», this project is aimed at faster claims payments procedure for the clients, insured at the company under MOD. «If there are no problems with the third party or insurance company under the certain insurance accident, the client surely will be provided with the insurance compensation to repair the vehicle as soon as possible», — he noticed.
The insurance coverage calculation for quick payment is carried out by the software Audatex with an allowance of working hours for operation accomplishment by the builder, as well as the average regional cost of the working hour.
At the moment the system of quick payments spreads on the regions, where the regional Claims settlement centers of «Universalna» are located — in Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Odesa.
The Audatex system is set for implementation of the calculation concerning the repair of the vehicle promptly and with minimum efforts. Such result can be achieved by using the computer technologies and constantly renovating data base of the builder’ work-hours, the cost of original spare parts and varnish-and-paint materials, as well as the other requirements concerning the concrete motor vehicle.
Ukraine has become the 23rd country in the world, where Audatex is being used.
