Oleksandr Kulyeshin has been appointed as the Acting General Director of OJSC «Life Insurance Company «Universalna»

Since August 7, 2008 Oleksandr Kulyeshin has been appointed to the post of Acting General Director of OJSC «Life Insurance Company «Universalna».

This decision was declared during the Meeting of Supervisory Board of OJSC «Life Insurance Company «Universalna» on August 6, 2008.

Prior to joining OJSC «Life Insurance Company «Universalna» Oleksandr Kulyeshin has occupied a position of Chairman of the Board of OJSC «Life Insurance Company «Fortis Insurance Ukraine».

According to Mr. Kulyeshin, today «Life Insurance Company «Universalna» is a dynamic insurance company, one of the leading players on a Ukrainian insurance market, who demonstrates confidence and huge potential.

"I’m strongly positioned to substantially enhance the market positions of OJSC «Life Insurance Company «Universalna» — emphasized Mr. Kulyeshin.

Oleksandr Kulyeshin was born on July 28, 1970 in urban village of Tomakivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 1997 he graduated from Kyiv National Economic University with a Master’s degree in Insurance Management.

Thereupon Mr. Kulyeshin embarked on his career by joining one of the major insurance companies of Ukraine — NJS «Insurance Company «Oranta». In «Oranta» he succeeded from specialist to the Head of Sales department.

Between May 2003 and May 2004 he was holding the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of CJSC «Insurance Company «Etalon». From May 2004 until recently he occupied the position of Chairman of the Board of OJSC «Life Insurance Company «Fortis Insurance Ukraine».
