For the Obligatory motor third party liability (OMTPL) policy owners
What to do in case of a car accident:
- Calling DAI (road police) inspector to the accident site is a must;
- Call 0 800 500 381 no less than 48 hours after the accident, tell them about the trouble and follow their instructions;
- Inform the aggrieved person and the DAI on the policy owner and the insurance company.
Documents necessary for insurance compensation in case of harm-doing to property *:
Recipient’s (the aggrieved party receiving the insurance indemnity) personal documents copies:
- Passport (pp.1, 2, and 11);
- Certificate of grant the ID number;
- Certificate of property ownership or enjoyment (registration certificate, purchase contract, Technical Inventory Bureau certificate etc.);
- Insurance agreement;
- License of the damaged vehicle driver
Claim and application forms:
Claim payment application form for the car damaged in the traffic accident
Claim payment application form for the property damaged in the traffic accident
A letter of explanation describing in detail the circumstances of the insured accident
Competent bodies original documents:
- DAI (road police) primary findings from the accident site;
- Expert (the insurance company average surveyor) inspection report and conclusion;
- Court decision attested by the round wet stamp
